Job summary

United Dairy Farmers is seeking a Shift Leader in Kentucky, Florence. The role supports the Store Manager, covers 37-40 hours weekly across 1st–3rd shifts, and provides outstanding guest service while following company policies and state regulations for alcohol/tobacco sales.

The Shift Leader will greet guests, ensure smooth store operations, manage cash handling, POS use, stock, and safety procedures, and lead by example on the shop floor.

Qualifications

• Ability to communicate clearly in English with customers.
• Ability to operate POS terminal and gas console.
• Ability to understand and follow store instructions and equipment.
• Ability to prepare DipSide items.
• Ability to handle transactions, coins, and coupons accurately.
• Ability to lift at least 10 pounds and handle heavier items safely.
• Ability to tolerate cold and hot temperatures in a store environment.
• Ability to move merchandise and maintain display quality.

Responsibilities

• Provide Hi Five Guest Experience to guests.
• Prepare DipSide items including shakes and ice cream treats.
• Operate POS and gas console accurately.
• Stock shelves, displays, and coolers; rotate stock and check dates.
• Maintain store security and handle cash drops per policy.
• Keep store and equipment clean and safe.
• Complete time records and Customer First Document accurately.
• Perform other duties as assigned by Management.
