Qualifications

• At least 6 months of experience in a leadership role
• Shift Leaders may be required to work different days, times, or shifts as business needs change
• Must be at least 18 years of age
• High school diploma or GED equivalent

Responsibilities

• Demonstrates mastery of every Team Member responsibility with confidence, enthusiasm, and excellence
• Leads shifts with energy and keeps the shift on track
• Optimizes product sales while managing waste and maintaining a welcoming coffeehouse
• Knows the day’s deployment and roles to keep the shift moving
• Reads team needs and delegates objectives accordingly
• Owns the shift and ensures a smooth hand-off to the next shift
• Ensures SOPs, quality, cash handling, and store safety are upheld
• Coaches and trains team on responsibilities, product knowledge, and promotions
• Performs administrative tasks with integrity, including deposits and inventory
• Actively develops Team Members through coaching
• Brings Caribou’s Core Values to life: teamwork, fun, authenticity, ownership, service
• Owns decision-making as Manager on Duty under pressure
• Leads with humility and builds an inclusive culture
• Trains new team members on responsibilities and offerings
• Arrives on time for every scheduled shift
