Applegreen (US) Welcome Centers is seeking a Shift Supervisor to lead shifts, ensure top-notch customer service, and enforce brand standards. You will train new team members and monitor cash handling, safety, and procedures to keep operations running smoothly.

The role requires occasional flexible scheduling including days, nights, weekends, and holidays. Benefits include flexible schedules, health coverage options, a 401(k) with company match, PTO, and other employee perks.

Qualifications

• Cash handling and customer service experience required.
• Shift supervisor or leadership experience preferred.
• Demonstrates the ability to interact with the public and coworkers in a friendly, enthusiastic, and outgoing manner.

Responsibilities

• Lead the activities of team members on shift.
• Consistently provide friendly customer service by engaging in positive, helpful interactions with customers and resolve complaints.
• Complete opening, daily and closing procedures/checklists in accordance with company policies/procedures.
• Operate POS system, process payments accurately, and follow all cash handling policies.
• Ensure proper food handling procedures are followed including wrapping, labelling, dating, stocking, storing, rotating, and checking temperature of products.
• Complete various kitchen-related tasks including prepping, thawing, cooking, packaging, wrapping, and cleaning.
• Stock, clean, and sanitize workstation and equipment.
• Actively cross-sell and up-sell products.
• Maintain knowledge of products and services available in the plaza.
• Assist in training of new team members.
• Follow brand standards, food safety requirements, and all company policies.
• Inform plaza leadership of observations, concerns, or problems.
• Execute a variety of other tasks as assigned.
