Job summary

Firehouse Subs is seeking a Shift Leader to support store operations across day and night shifts. You will work under the General Manager, lead team members, ensure guest satisfaction, and uphold all brand standards and safety procedures.

This role offers both part-time and full-time schedules, competitive hourly pay with tips, and benefits for full-time employees including medical, dental, vision, and a 401(k) plan after 1 year.

Qualifications

• Experience supporting the General Manager and leading a restaurant shift.
• Ability to stand for long periods, bend, reach and lift up to 50 lbs.
• Computer skills including basic Microsoft software and register operations.

Responsibilities

• REPORTS TO: General Manager.
• Lead shift operations while upholding company guidelines with integrity.
• Ensure compliance with health, hour and wage, age restrictions and ADA regulations.
• Enforce Firehouse Subs Policies and Procedures.
• Maintain profitability by controlling food cost, labor, and controllables.
• Provide leadership to the restaurant team to meet guest service, quality and cleanliness standards.
• Assist the GM in coordinating current operations game plans and initiatives.
• Participate in interviewing, hiring, training and disciplining employees under the GM.
• Ensure required reports and legal documents are accurate and completed on schedule.
• Represent Firehouse Subs professionally and communicate issues to GM/Owner as needed.
• Able to work on their feet for up to 13 hours; able to lift up to 50 lbs.
