Job summary

Jamba is seeking a Shift Manager to lead store operations and drive guest satisfaction on every shift. You’ll act as the heartbeat of the store when leadership is unavailable, ensuring smooth operations, motivated staff, and a consistently great guest experience.

The role emphasizes maintaining food quality and safety standards, supervising front-line team members, and resolving daily challenges while escalating issues to store leadership when needed.

Qualifications

• Must be 18 years or older.
• 3-6 months of first-line supervisory experience preferred.
• Flexible availability incl. weeknights, weekends, and holidays.
• TB clearance required.
• 0-1 year of food service or retail experience.
• Ability to stand, bend, scoop, and stay active during shift.
• Comfortable in cold environments (walk-in fridge/freezer).
• Basic math and computer skills (MS Excel, POS systems).
• Cash handling and customer service experience is a plus.
• Food handler certification (current or obtained within 30 days) preferred.
• High school diploma or equivalent experience.

Responsibilities

• Lead the team and be the go-to decision maker during your shift.
• Maintain high standards for food quality, service, cleanliness, and safety.
• Motivate and support team members to deliver exceptional guest experiences.
• Troubleshoot challenges—team needs, guest concerns, or supplier issues.
• Know when and how to elevate matters to store leadership.
