Job summary

Potbelly Sandwich Works is seeking a Shift Leader to guide and develop associates, ensuring exceptional product quality and customer service while controlling costs for each shift. You will lead a team in a fast-paced environment and support daily operations in our Denver area location.

Applicants should have at least 1 year of supervisory experience in a restaurant or retail setting, strong communication skills, and the ability to manage a bustling kitchen.

Qualifications

• Strong communication skills

Responsibilities

• Lead team members on shifts and assign tasks
• Ensure security procedures are followed
• Maintain back-of-house standards
• Count drawers and handle cash procedures
• Prepare finished products (sandwiches, salads, soups, etc.) efficiently
• Comply with health and safety standards
• Restock food line and supplies
• Clean work areas and utensils
• Operate cash register and balance cash
• Address customer complaints promptly
• Carry out other duties as assigned
