Job summary

Wingstop in Texas is seeking a shift leader to supervise the operations of a shift, ensuring food safety, proper prep, cleanliness and adherence to standards, while occasionally working cashier or cook duties and guiding the team. You will train staff, manage inventory, open/close, coordinate breaks, and resolve customer issues to support a smooth, guest-focused operation.

Responsibilities

• Performs all tasks and responsibilities of a Wingstop crew member.
• Ensure each Guest receives outstanding service with a Guest-friendly environment, greeting and acknowledging guests, upholding standards, and strong product knowledge.
• Trains newer crew members in their tasks and responsibilities.
• Practices inventory control standards.
• Store policies are followed by all staff.
• Ensure cleanliness, sanitation, safety, and staffing standards are maintained.
• Open and/or close the Restaurant and meet required work hours.
• Manage and motivate the crew members.
• Coordinate breaks effectively and quickly.
• Assemble and package orders according to Wingstop standards.
• Assist other positions when necessary.
• Keep kitchen and dining area clean throughout the shift.
• Ensure crew health and safety consciousness.
• Resolve customer issues with efficiency and a positive attitude.
