Job summary

Wingstop is seeking a Shift Leader to support the General Manager in daily restaurant operations and to guide the team in delivering Wingstop’s flavor experience. You will role‑model Wingstop culture, supervise staff, and ensure a safe, upbeat dining environment with efficient service.

The role emphasizes people leadership, guest satisfaction, and hands‑on involvement in daily tasks to meet brand standards and growth opportunities.

Qualifications

• Minimum of 2 years of previous food service, retail, or restaurant supervisory experience
• Strong written and verbal communication skills
• Initiative and assertiveness
• Strong interpersonal skills and conflict resolution skills
• Strong leadership skills and ability to manage, train, develop, and motivate a diverse crew that is highly engaged
• Passionate about hospitality and serving the guest
• Ability/flexibility to work a changing schedule including mornings, evenings, weekends, and/or holidays
• Ability to problem-solve
• Ability to accept feedback and willingness to improve
• Ability to set goals, create action plans, and implement those plans
• Ability to measure performance, subjectively and objectively

Responsibilities

• People Management: assist in staffing the restaurant with a capable team and ensure a safe environment.
• Guest Experience: greet guests promptly and deliver a positive Wingstop experience with friendly service.
• Financial Management: help control cash, inventory, and costs.
• Operations Management: uphold standards, communicate maintenance needs, coach staff, and ensure risk compliance.
