RaceTrac is seeking a hands-on Shift Manager to lead a fast-paced team on the floor, delivering excellent guest service and efficient store operations. You will motivate staff, coach them in real time, and ensure food safety and cleanliness standards are met across all shifts.

Ideal candidates bring 2–3 years in a retail or food-service setting and 1+ years of leadership experience. This role offers growth opportunities and a benefits package.

Qualifications

• 2–3 years work experience in retail, restaurant, or food service preferred.
• 1+ years leadership or supervisory experience preferred.
• Comfort in fast-paced, high-volume, guest-focused environments.
• Ability to follow through on tasks and coach others to do the same.
• Strong communication and team building skills.

Responsibilities

• Lead a Winning Team on Your Shift.
• Set the tone with a cheerful, can-do attitude that motivates your team.
• Provide clear direction and assist with food service, stocking, cleaning, or cash handling.
• Coach team members in real-time, offering guidance and support during every shift.
• Address guest concerns with empathy and professionalism, escalating when necessary.
• Train and guide your team to meet RaceTrac’s standards for guest service, food safety, and cleanliness.
• Oversee inventory control, vendor check-in, and promotional communication.
• Ensure proper cash wrap, write-offs, and compliance documentation.
