RaceTrac is seeking a hands‑on Shift Manager to lead a fast‑paced store team, maintain guest‑focused service, and drive daily operations. You will coach staff, ensure food safety and cleanliness, manage inventory, and handle cash and vendor check‑ins with accountability and enthusiasm.

Ideal candidates have 2–3 years in retail or food service and at least 1 year of supervisory experience, with excellent communication and team‑building skills.

Qualifications

• 2–3 years work experience (retail, restaurant, or food service preferred).
• 1+ years of leadership or supervisory experience (preferred).
• Comfort in fast‑paced, high‑volume, guest‑focused environments.
• Ability to follow through on tasks and coach others to do the same.
• Strong communication and team-building skills.
• Must have a High School Diploma or GED (in progress or completed).
• Ability to lift up to 50 lbs. and perform physical tasks.

Responsibilities

• Lead a winning team on your shift and set a cheerful, can-do tone.
• Provide clear direction and assist with food service, stocking, cleaning, or cash handling.
• Coach team members in real time, offering guidance and support during every shift.
• Address guest concerns with empathy and professionalism; escalate when necessary.
• Train and guide team members to meet cleanliness, safety, and service standards.
• Oversee shift change communication and ensure team alignment throughout the day.
• Monitor task completion and provide feedback to drive results.
• Foster a culture of accountability, respect, and teamwork.
