RaceTrac is seeking a Shift Manager to lead a fast-paced team on each shift. You’ll set the tone, coach teammates, and ensure excellent guest service, food safety, and cleanliness. You’ll also manage inventory, complete cash-wrap procedures, and support store operations to drive performance.

Ideal candidates have 2–3 years in retail or food service, 1+ years in leadership, and the ability to lift up to 50 lbs. A dynamic, people-first approach is essential for growth and cross-store development.

Qualifications

• 2–3 years of work experience in retail, restaurant, or food service.
• 1+ years of leadership or supervisory experience.
• Comfort in fast-paced, guest-focused environments.
• Willingness to obtain permits (food handler, alcohol server).
• Ability to lift up to 50 lbs. and perform physical tasks.

Responsibilities

• Lead a Winning Team on Your Shift and set a cheerful, can-do tone.
• Provide clear direction and assist with food service, stocking, and cash handling.
• Coach team members in real-time and address guest concerns empathetically.
• Train staff to meet guest service and food safety standards.
• Oversee inventory, receiving, write-offs, and cash wrap controls.
• Ensure shift communications, accountability, and timely task completion.
