Job summary

Taco Bell Cranston is seeking a Shift Lead to drive energy and standards in a fast-paced restaurant. You will lead shifts, coach team members, handle customer concerns, and partner with the management team to execute business initiatives.

The role emphasizes ownership, accountability, and delivering a positive guest experience, with responsibilities spanning food safety, inventory, labor, and health and safety compliance.

Qualifications

• 1 year of restaurant/retail experience, with 3 months shift lead experience preferred.
• Adheres to cash, security, inventory, and labor policies.
• Must be at least 18 years of age.
• Accessibility to dependable and reliable transportation.
• Excellent communication skills, management/leadership and organizational skills.
• Physical dexterity required (ability to move up to 45 lbs).
• Attendance and punctuality a must.
• Basic Math skills.
• Maintains customer satisfaction and adheres to health and safety standards.
• Promotes and champions Taco Bell’s culture and values.
• Provides constructive feedback to Team Members.
• Executes shift duties accurately and efficiently.

Responsibilities

• Execute MIC (Manager in Charge) Success Routine to prioritize customer needs.
• Oversee Team Members' Shift Excellence tasks and maintain cleanliness.
• Ensure food safety, quality, and order accuracy.
• Resolve customer complaints quickly and maintain positive relations.
• Provide regular feedback to the GM on team performance.
• Offer ongoing constructive and positive feedback to Team Members.
• Actively participate in training Team Members.
• Handle conflicts constructively and work with the GM to resolve.
• Assist the GM in screening Team Member candidates.
• Assist with Profit & Loss management by following cash control and security procedures, maintaining inventory, and managing labor.
• Oversee proper product preparation, rotation, portioning, cooking, and holding times.
• Assist the GM with facility maintenance and ensure health and safety standards are always followed.
