RaceTrac is hiring a Shift Manager in a fast-paced retail/food service environment in the United States. You will lead a shift team, set a cheerful tone, supervise cash handling, food safety, and cleanliness, and coach staff to deliver excellent guest experiences.

You will train team members, manage inventory and shift change communications, and model RaceTrac's core values and leadership standards to ensure smooth operations and service excellence.

Qualifications

• 2–3 years of work experience (retail, restaurant, or food service preferred).
• 1+ years of leadership or supervisory experience (preferred).
• Strong communication and team-building skills.
• Comfort in fast-paced, high-volume, guest-focused environments.

Responsibilities

• Lead a Winning Team on Your Shift.
• Set the tone with a cheerful, can-do attitude that motivates your team.
• Provide clear direction and assist with food service, stocking, cleaning, or cash handling.
• Coach team members in real-time, offering guidance and support during every shift.
• Address guest concerns with empathy and professionalism, escalating when necessary.
• Train and guide your team to meet RaceTrac’s guest service, food safety, and cleanliness standards.
• Oversee inventory, cash wrap, and compliance documentation.
• Lead shift change communication and ensure team alignment throughout the day.
• Model Communication & Accountability and relay updates from leadership to shift associates.
• Monitor task completion and drive results with timely feedback.
• Foster a culture of accountability, respect, and teamwork.
