Job summary

RaceTrac is seeking a Shift Manager to lead a winning team on a fast-paced shift. You will guide staff, assist with food service, stocking, cleaning, and cash handling, and coach teammates in real time to maintain high standards.

You’ll address guest concerns with empathy and professionalism, drive store operations, inventory, and compliance, and communicate effectively with leadership across shifts to ensure smooth transitions and consistent results.

Qualifications

• 2-3 years work experience (retail, restaurant, or food service preferred).
• 1+ years of leadership or supervisory experience (preferred).
• Comfort in fast-paced, high-volume, guest-focused environments.
• Ability to lift up to 50 lbs. and perform physical tasks without frequent breaks.
• Willingness to obtain and maintain required permits (food handlers, alcohol server, etc.).

Responsibilities

• Lead a Winning Team on Your Shift.
• Provide clear direction and assist with food service, stocking, cleaning, or cash handling.
• Coach team members in real-time, offering guidance and support during every shift.
• Address guest concerns with empathy and professionalism, escalating when necessary.
• Oversee key store processes including write-offs, cash wrap, and compliance documentation.
• Lead shift change communication and ensure team alignment throughout the day.
