Job summary

Shake Shack is seeking a team-oriented leader to oversee shift operations, ensuring safety, cleanliness, quality and speed. You will guide a high-performing group of hourly Team Members and may support purchasing, receiving and inventory tasks.

Qualifications include at least 1 year of leadership in a restaurant setting, a local food safety certification, strong problem solving, and clear written and verbal communication skills.

Qualifications

• At least 1 year of restaurant leadership experience supervising a team.
• Food Safety Certification according to local jurisdiction.
• Strong problem solving skills.
• Effective communication skills, both written and verbal.

Responsibilities

• Manage the flow of service and direct the work of team members on a shift to ensure the highest levels of safety, cleanliness, quality, and speed.
• Help build and lead high performing team of hourly Team Members.
• May assist with operational support functions (i.e. Purchasing, Receiving, Inventory, etc.)
• Participates in applicant interviews and assists with employee relations.
