Job summary

Shake Shack is seeking a restaurant leader to manage shift operations and drive high performance among hourly team members. You will oversee service flow, safety, cleanliness, quality, and speed while fostering teamwork and coaching staff.

Responsibilities include interviewing applicants, supporting purchasing/receiving, and strengthening employee relations to maintain guest-focused hospitality. Must bring leadership experience and a food safety certification.

Qualifications

• At least 1 year of restaurant leadership experience supervising a team.
• Food Safety Certification according to local jurisdiction.
• Strong problem solving skills.
• Effective communication skills, both written and verbal.

Responsibilities

• Manage the flow of service and direct the work of team members on a shift to ensure the highest levels of safety, cleanliness, quality, and speed.
• Help build and lead high performing team of hourly Team Members.
• May assist with operational support functions (i.e. Purchasing, Receiving, Inventory, etc.)
• Participates in applicant interviews and assists with employee relations.
