Job summary

Velvet Taco Naperville is seeking a dynamic Shift Leader to guide hourly team members and deliver exceptional guest experiences. You will open, mid, and close shifts, handle cash and POS duties, and model urgency, teamwork, and high food-safety standards.

You’ll de-escalate guest concerns, support inventory with the management team, and help train teammates while staying flexible for nights, weekends, and holidays.

Qualifications

• Requires 2 years of Shift Leader/Supervisor experience in a restaurant.
• Excellent guest service and leadership experience.
• Able to multitask in a fast-paced environment.
• Must be 21+ with food-safety certification and ABR if applicable.

Responsibilities

• Open, mid, and close duties per Velvet Taco procedures.
• Handle cash, set up POS drawers, run comps/voids, manage deposits.
• De-escalate guest concerns and ensure a positive guest experience.
• Support inventory and daily prep with the management team.
