Velvet Taco in Schaumburg, IL is hiring a Shift Leader/Supervisor to manage hourly team members and interact with guests in a friendly, professional way. You will execute opening, mid, and closing duties following Velvet Taco’s procedures.

Must be 21+, with 2 years of restaurant supervisory experience, able to work nights/weekends, and lift up to 25 pounds. Food handler and alcohol certifications are required. Enjoy benefits and a fast-paced, team-driven environment.

Qualifications

• 2 years of experience as Shift Leader or Supervisor in a restaurant.
• Must be 21+ years old.
• Ability to work nights, weekends, and holidays.
• Must be able to lift up to 25 pounds.
• Food Handler's Certification and Alcohol Beverage Service Certification.

Responsibilities

• Manages the Hourly Team Members and interacts with Guests in a friendly, professional, and responsive way.
• Executes opening, mid, and closing duties daily following Velvet Taco’s standard procedures and recipe guidelines.
• Skilled at handling Guest concerns and guiding them toward a positive resolution.
• Adept at cash-handling, setting up POS drawers, performing comps and voids, and managing deposits during the shift.
• Communicates and delivers a friendly, welcoming, exceptional guest experience.
• Embraces feedback, is eager to learn, and takes accountability for their actions.
