Job summary

RaceTrac is seeking a hands-on Shift Manager to lead a fast-paced team, ensure guest satisfaction, and uphold store standards across all shift activities. You’ll model RaceTrac’s values, coach associates, manage cash handling, food service, inventory, and promotions while delivering a friendly, efficient guest experience.

You have 2–3 years in retail or food service with 1+ year leadership, a High School Diploma or GED, and the ability to lift up to 50 lbs.

Qualifications

• 2–3 years of work experience in retail, restaurant, or food service.
• 1+ years of leadership or supervisory experience preferred.
• Comfort in fast-paced, high-volume environments.
• Ability to coach others and follow through on tasks.

Responsibilities

• Lead a winning team on your shift and set a positive tone.
• Provide clear direction and assist with food service, stocking, cleaning, or cash handling.
• Coach team members in real time and offer guidance during shifts.
• Ensure guest concerns are addressed with empathy and professionalism.
• Oversee store processes including inventory, write-offs, and promotional communication.
