Job summary

RaceTrac is seeking a hands-on Shift Manager to lead a fast-paced store team, drive guest satisfaction, and safeguard daily operations. You’ll coach teammates, manage tasks across food service, stocking, cleaning, and cash handling, and model a cheerful, can-do attitude on every shift.

With 2–3 years in retail/food service and 1+ year of leadership, you’ll champion teamwork, uphold safety standards, and support leaders in achieving performance goals.

Qualifications

• 2–3 years of work experience (retail, restaurant, or food service preferred).
• 1+ years of leadership or supervisory experience (preferred).
• Comfort in fast-paced, high-volume, guest-focused environments.
• Ability to follow through on tasks and coach others to do the same.
• Strong communication and team building skills.

Responsibilities

• Lead a Winning Team on Your Shift and set the tone with a cheerful attitude.
• Provide clear direction and assist with food service, stocking, cleaning, or cash handling.
• Coach team members in real-time, offering guidance and support during every shift.
• Address guest concerns with empathy and professionalism.
• Train and guide your team to meet guest service and food safety standards.
• Oversee inventory, write-offs, and cash wrap controls.
• Model communication and accountability, delivering timely updates from leadership.
