Candidates should have at least 1 year of supervisory experience in a restaurant or retail setting, strong communication skills, and a food safety certification. This role supports a busy kitchen and requires standing for long periods and lifting up to 50 pounds.

Qualifications

• Minimum 18 years old
• 1 year supervisory experience in restaurant or retail preferred
• Must pass and obtain a Food Safety Certification
• Friendly customer-first mindset for fast-paced environment
• Strong written and verbal communication skills
• Enjoy problem-solving in a bustling kitchen
• Able to stand/walk 8–9 hours; lift 10–50 pounds
• Illinois applicants must become food safety certified within 30 days of employment

Responsibilities

• Lead team members on shifts with task assignment and feedback
• Ensure security procedures are followed
• Maintain back-of-house standards
• Count drawers and follow cash handling procedures
• Prepare quality finished products (sandwiches, salads, soups, desserts)
• Adhere to health, safety, and cleanliness standards
• Restock food line, chips and cooler
• Clean tables, counters, floors, bathrooms, utensils; dispose of trash
• Operate cash register and balance cash
• Handle customer complaints professionally
• Other duties as assigned
