Potbelly Sandwich Works is seeking a Shift Leader to manage a fast-paced shift, develop associates, and drive product quality and customer service. You will lead by example, ensure safe operations, and contribute to controlling costs while building sales.

The role requires at least 1 year of supervisory experience in a restaurant or retail setting, a Food Safety Certification, and strong communication skills.

Qualifications

• 1 year supervisory experience in a restaurant or retail environment preferred.
• Must meet Food Safety requirements and obtain Food Safety Certification.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Lead team members on shifts, assigning tasks and giving feedback.
• Ensure security and back-of-house standards are followed.
• Count drawers and handle cash following procedures.
• Prepare quality finished products (sandwiches, salads, soups, desserts) efficiently.
• Address customer complaints and maintain health and safety standards.
