Job summary

Qualifications

• Customer service experience in grocery or retail preferred.
• Ability to multi-task and handle interruptions in a fast-paced environment.
• Computer skills.

Responsibilities

• Independently manage store operations between daytime and nighttime hours, acting as key leader and liaison among teams and various departments; responsible for opening/closing the store with a varied weekly schedule.
• Partner with department management to prioritize and delegate tasks and ensure Front End operations run efficiently, monitoring traffic and managing checkout lanes.
• Manage performance of a team of Customer Service employees, providing resources, training, feedback, and development opportunities.
• Provide excellent customer service to customers and employees, championing Wegmans values and standards.
• React to operational challenges by partnering with store leadership to problem-solve.
• Participate in or lead special store projects to strengthen team cohesion and company culture.
