Potbelly Sandwich Shop in Flint, MI is seeking a Shift Leader to guide a fast-paced team on a daily basis. You will manage shift operations, develop associates, and drive outstanding product quality and customer service while controlling costs for your shift.

The role requires at least 1 year of supervisory experience, a Food Safety Certification, and a customer-first mindset. You must be able to stand for long periods and lift up to 50 pounds; benefits and a supportive team environment are

Qualifications

• Minimum 1 year supervisory experience in a restaurant or retail environment preferred.
• Must meet Food Safety requirements and obtain Food Safety Certification.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills.
• Able to stand/walk 8-9 hours and lift up to 50 pounds occasionally.

Responsibilities

• Lead team members on shifts and assign tasks while providing feedback.
• Ensure security procedures and back-of-house standards are followed.
• Count cash drawers and follow cash handling procedures.
• Prepare finished products and maintain health and safety standards.
• Restock lines and maintain cleanliness of tables, counters, and dining areas.
• Handle customer complaints and other duties as assigned.
