MFA Petroleum Company seeks a Break Time Shift Leader to assist in managing store operations, supervise shifts, and handle daily financials and reporting. You will promote food service, ensure safety, and support merchandising and customer relations in a fast-paced convenience store environment.

The role emphasizes teamwork, leadership, accuracy in cash handling, and adherence to company policies while ensuring excellent guest experiences during peak times.

Qualifikationen

• 18 years of age or older.
• Friendly, customer service-oriented person who enjoys a fast-paced work environment.
• Valid driver’s license and vehicle insurance.
• Flexible availability which may include all shifts, weekends, and holidays.
• Works well individually and in leading a team.
• Ability to perform mathematical calculations to make change, complete shift reports, and account for numbers of products.
• Ability to learn new concepts, use technical materials, and operate a computer and other office productivity machinery.
• Ability to perform duties with accuracy and minimal supervision.
• Physical ability to move and position products in the cooler/freezer.
• Ability to stand for up to nine hours per shift.
• Ability to ascend/descend ladders occasionally.
• Ability to communicate in English.
• Ability to meet pre-employment background check and drug test.
• Legal authorization to work in the United States.

Aufgaben

• Provide excellent customer service and greet customers; support peak hours; handle complaints quickly and courteously; conduct accurate and efficient transactions.
• Assist in all aspects of store operation including daily reporting, banking, inventory, bookkeeping, and fuel management; ensure equipment and property are well maintained.
• Assist in merchandising and promotional activities; ensure products are stocked and properly priced.
• Supervise assigned shifts in the absence of the manager; help train new employees on policies and procedures; support food service and safety.
• Maintain professional communication with customers, vendors, employees, and management regarding store operations.
• Understand store finances; assist with cash handling, audits, and meeting sales and expense goals.
• Assist in recruiting, training, and developing the store team; adhere to regulations.
