Job summary

Applegreen USA Welcome Centers Central Services is seeking a Shift Supervisor to lead on-shift team members, ensure high-quality customer service, and uphold brand standards and food safety policies. You will help train new staff and monitor cash handling practices.

Responsibilities include opening/closing procedures, POS operation, food preparation tasks, stocking, and product knowledge maintenance. Flexible scheduling and team collaboration are essential for success in this role.

Qualifications

• Cash handling and customer service experience required.
• Shift supervisor or leadership experience preferred.
• Demonstrates the ability to interact with the public and coworkers in a friendly, enthusiastic, and outgoing manner.

Responsibilities

• Lead the activities of team members on shift.
• Consistently provide friendly customer service by engaging in positive, helpful interactions with customers and resolve complaints.
• Complete opening, daily and closing procedures/checklists in accordance with company policies/procedures.
• Operate POS system, accurately process payments, and follow all customer service and cash handling policies and procedures.
• Ensure proper food handling procedures are followed including labeling, dating, stocking, storing, rotating, and checking temperatures.
• Perform kitchen-related tasks including prepping, thawing, cooking, packaging, wrapping, and cleaning.
• Stock, clean, and sanitize workstation and equipment.
• Actively cross-sell and up-sell products.
• Maintain knowledge of products and services available in the plaza.
• Assist in training new team members.
• Follow brand standards, food safety requirements, and all company policies.
• Inform plaza leadership of observations or problems.
• Execute a variety of other tasks as assigned.
