Job summary

Applegreen USA Welcome Centers is seeking a Shift Supervisor to lead shifts, ensure exceptional customer service, and uphold brand standards across our travel plazas. You will supervise team members, monitor cash handling, and assist in training while maintaining food safety and quality across a busy site.

Responsibilities include opening/closing procedures, POS transactions, and maintaining product knowledge.

Qualifications

• Cash handling and customer service experience required.
• Shift supervisor or leadership experience preferred.
• Ability to interact with the public and coworkers in a friendly, enthusiastic manner.

Responsibilities

• Lead the activities of team members on shift.
• Provide friendly customer service and resolve customer issues.
• Complete opening, daily, and closing procedures per policies.
• Operate POS system and handle payments accurately.
• Ensure proper food handling, labeling, dating, stocking, and temperature checks.
• Assist with kitchen tasks such as prepping, cooking, packaging, and cleaning.
• Stock, clean, and sanitize workstation and equipment.
• Cross-sell and up-sell products.
• Maintain knowledge of plaza products and services.
• Assist in training new team members.
• Follow brand standards, food safety requirements, and company policies.
• Inform plaza leadership of observations or concerns.
• Assist with additional tasks as assigned.
