Job summary

Velvet Taco is seeking a Shift Leader/Supervisor to guide hourly team members and deliver exceptional guest experiences in Rockwall, TX. You will open, run, and close the restaurant following Velvet Taco’s procedures and recipes, while handling POS tasks and deposits with accuracy.

You’ll lead with urgency, resolve guest concerns, and uphold food safety and cleanliness. 2+ years in a supervisory restaurant role and relevant certifications are required, with flexibility for nights and weekends.

Qualifications

• 2 years of experience as a Shift Leader or Supervisor in a restaurant.
• Food Handler certification andAlcoholic Beverage Service certification required.
• Able to work nights, weekends, and holidays as needed.

Responsibilities

• Manage hourly team members and interact with guests professionally.
• Perform opening, mid, and closing duties following procedures and recipes.
• Handle guest concerns and guide to positive resolutions; de-escalate when needed.
• Cash-handling, set up POS drawers, and manage deposits during shifts.
• Support inventory and ensure food safety, line checks, and proper storage.
• Lead by example, motivate others, and maintain a fast-paced, safe environment.
