Job summary

Pura Vida Miami is seeking a hands-on manager to lead by example in a fast-paced hospitality environment in Miami Beach. You will deliver outstanding customer service, supervise shifts, and ensure food-safety standards are met.

Requirements include a year of hospitality management, a high school diploma or GED, and flexibility to close shifts on weekends. English/Spanish bilinguals are a plus. Benefits include health, meals, and a 401(k) plan with company match.

Qualifications

• Minimum 1 year of customer service experience in hospitality.
• High School Diploma or GED required; 2 years of college preferred.
• Minimum 1 year of experience in management in a hospitality environment.
• Bilingual proficiency (English and Spanish) is a plus; ability to close shifts.

Responsibilities

• Lead by example and maintain clear communication with the team.
• Deliver outstanding customer service and address issues efficiently.
• Motivate and guide team members to surpass customer expectations.
• Ensure compliance with food safety laws and sanitation regulations.
• Assist the General Manager with store procedures and policies.
• Cover all shifts and support stations.
• Organize, schedule and supervise shifts of team members.
• Monitor attendance, punctuality and time-off requests.
• Assign duties to optimize productivity and supervise tasks.
• Conduct performance reviews and provide feedback for improvement.
• Train new and existing staff on roles and responsibilities.
• Uphold policies, health, safety, and employment standards.
