Job summary

Pura Vida Miami is seeking a reliable hospitality supervisor to lead daily restaurant operations in a fast-paced environment. This non-exempt, hourly role focuses on customer service, team leadership, and adherence to health and safety standards.

You'll cover shifts, supervise scheduling, train staff, and assist the General Manager to maintain high service levels. Bilingual English/Spanish is a plus, and prior restaurant management experience is preferred.

Qualifications

• Minimum 1 year experience in customer service in a hospitality environment.
• Minimum 1 year of experience in management in a hospitality environment.
• High School Diploma or GED; 2 years of college preferred.

Responsibilities

• Lead by example, maintaining clear communication with the team.
• Deliver outstanding customer service and resolve issues promptly.
• Motivate and guide team members to exceed customer expectations.
• Ensure compliance with food safety laws and sanitation regulations.
• Assist the General Manager with enforcing store procedures and policies.
• Cover all shifts and support stations; organize and supervise scheduling.
• Monitor attendance, punctuality and time-off requests.
• Train new and existing staff on roles and responsibilities.
