Job summary

Pura Vida Miami is seeking a Store Manager to lead daily operations, deliver exceptional customer service, and supervise a team in a fast-paced hospitality environment. You will ensure food safety, manage schedules, train staff, and collaborate with the General Manager to maintain high standards and growth opportunities.

This role requires minimum 1 year management experience in hospitality, strong communication, and the ability to cover shifts, including weekends.

Qualifications

• Minimum 1 year experience in customer service in hospitality environment (restaurant/hotel).
• High School Diploma or GED; 2 years of college preferred.
• Minimum 1 year of management experience in hospitality.
• Strong communication, organizational and problem-solving skills.
• Local food handler certification may be required.
• Experience with guest services management and leadership abilities.
• Ability to work closing shifts and weekends.
• Manual lifting up to 50 pounds as needed.
• Bilingual proficiency in English and Spanish is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Lead by example with positivity and clear team communication.
• Deliver outstanding customer service and resolve issues professionally.
• Motivate and guide team to exceed customer expectations in a clean environment.
• Ensure compliance with food safety laws and sanitation regulations.
• Assist General Manager with enforcing store policies and procedures.
• Cover all shifts and support stations as needed.
• Organize, schedule and supervise team member shifts.
• Monitor attendance, punctuality, and time off requests.
• Assign duties based on roles to optimize productivity.
• Supervise tasks and provide guidance to maintain efficiency.
• Conduct performance reviews and provide feedback to management and staff.
• Handle employee requests and address concerns.
• Train new and existing staff on roles and responsibilities; enforce policy compliance.
• Perform additional duties to support store operations.
