Job summary

Marco’s Pizza is seeking a Shift Manager in Meridian, Mississippi. You will oversee daily store operations, support and guide team members, and ensure exceptional guest experiences on assigned shifts.

The role combines leadership, hands-on food prep involvement, and accountability for safety, cash handling, and workplace standards. Grow with a family‑oriented brand that values quality and community.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent.
• Must be at least 18 years of age.
• Valid driver’s license with a safe driving record.
• Ability to obtain and maintain any required food handler certifications.
• Strong communication, leadership, and interpersonal skills.
• Basic math and computer skills for cash handling and reporting.
• Ability to stand for extended periods (up to 10 hours per shift).
• Ability to lift and carry up to 50 lbs.

Responsibilities

• Supervise and support store crew during shifts, leading and training employees and opening/closing the store.
• Perform crew tasks as needed, including makeline, oven monitoring and guest service.
• Maintain a clean, safe, and organized store environment.
• Monitor product quality and take corrective action when needed.
• Coordinate with Drivers and Manager to ensure efficient deliveries.
• Manage cash handling procedures and balance registers.
• Ensure compliance with food safety and workplace safety standards.
• Coach and develop team members to improve performance.
• Assist with training new team members and setting expectations.
• Handle shift-related issues with professionalism and problem-solving skills.
