Job summary

Caribou Coffee in Bloomington is hiring a Shift Leader to guide the store in partnership with the General Manager or Assistant General Manager. You will ensure the team understands goals, cleanliness, new directives, and guest connections during every shift.

The role requires leading with enthusiasm, maintaining SOP and quality standards, and coaching team members for growth and exceptional service. Prior leadership in retail or food service is preferred.

Qualifications

• At least 1 year of leadership, restaurant, retail or customer service experience required, or properly trained and approved by Caribou Coffee to take responsibility as a Shift Leader
• Ability to work at least one of the following: early mornings, evenings, some holidays and/or weekends.
• Must be at least 18 years of age

Responsibilities

• Lead shifts focusing on team engagement and guest satisfaction with a commitment to Make Fun Happen
• Coach and give feedback to Team Members to ensure peak performance and culture
• Train team on role responsibilities, product knowledge and promotional items
• Ensure SOP and quality standards are followed consistently
• Perform administrative tasks such as deposits, inventory, and store product orders as assigned
