Job summary

United Dairy Farmers is seeking a Shift Leader to provide exceptional guest service and oversee daily operations on 1st, 2nd or 3rd shifts. The role reports to Store Manager and offers full-time hours (37-40 per week) with a pay range of $13.50–$15.25 per hour.

The Shift Leader must be legally qualified to conduct all sales, including alcohol and tobacco, and maintain UDF standards. Responsibilities include greeting guests, preparing dip-side items, operating POS/gas, stocking merchandise,

Qualifications

• Ability to speak, hear and understand spoken English well enough to communicate effectively with customers.
• Ability to operate POS terminal, gas console, and price book.
• Ability to understand operating instructions for store equipment.
• Ability to handle coins, currency, checks, credit transactions, coupons and food stamps.
• Ability to raise at least 10 pounds from floor level to a height of 5 feet.
• Ability to tolerate exposure to temperatures as low as –30 degrees Fahrenheit for at least 2 minutes.
• Shift Leader must be legally qualified to conduct all sales transactions including alcohol and tobacco sales.

Responsibilities

• Overall Guest Services: Provide the Hi Five Guest Experience and greet Guests, ensuring store is prepared for Guests at all times.
• DipSide Guest Services: Prepare shakes/malts, cups/cones, sundaes, sodas and hand-packed items.
• Operate POS system and gas console with accurate transactions and changes.
• Stock shelves, display cases, and freezers with properly rotated stock and clean equipment.
• Maintain store security and cash drop procedures, follow Tobacco/Alcohol Management and Robbery/Violence Deterrence programs.
• Keep the store and parking lot clean and safe, monitor temperatures of equipment.
• Accurately complete time records and the Customer First Document.
• Perform other duties as assigned by Management.
