Job summary

Sonic Drive-In is seeking an Assistant Manager to help lead the drive-in operations during shifts. This role supports the General Manager, oversees staff, ensures guest satisfaction, and maintains compliance with all policies and laws.

The position requires hands-on supervision of employees, scheduling, and duty coverage during opening and closing. A minimum track record in restaurant or retail management is preferred.

Qualifications

• Experience in restaurant management or retail management.
• Ability to lead a shift without supervision.
• Strong knowledge of labor and employment laws.

Responsibilities

• Train, manage, direct, coach, lead, and assign drive-in employees during shift.
• Lead and manage drive-in operations during shift to provide an optimal guest experience.
• Manage staffing levels during shift.
• Perform opening and/or closing duties.
• Handle and properly escalates guest issues/concerns during shift.
• Handle and properly escalates employee issues/concerns.
• Monitor and manage food, labor, paper, and inventory during shift to maximize cost-control and quality.
• Comply with and enforce all company policies and standards.
• Perform all station duties as necessary during shift.
• Regular attendance.
