Job summary

SONIC Drive-In is seeking an Assistant Manager to support the General Manager in daily drive-in operations. You will train and support staff to ensure clean, safe, and efficient service and a great guest experience.

The role requires coordinating team members, managing shifts with irregular hours, and upholding standards in food quality and customer service. A hands-on leader will drive performance and guest satisfaction across the restaurant.

Qualifications

• Minimum six months of restaurant management experience (QSR) or one year of entry-level retail management experience.
• Experience running shifts without supervision.
• Effective communication and basic math, reading, and computer skills.

Responsibilities

• Supervise and coach Team Members, Carhops, and other staff to meet operational standards.
• Direct daily drive-in operations and staffing to ensure quality food service.
• Ensure compliance with employee policies, safety, and cleanliness standards.
• Assist in opening/closing duties and manage inventories and records.
