Job summary

Harri in the United States is seeking a Shift Leader to support the management team in achieving restaurant goals and profit plans. This leadership role covers duties of hourly staff with some Assistant Manager responsibilities, excluding hiring and termination.

You will direct and supervise shift staff to ensure quality, efficiency, and guest service; train team using company tools; monitor safety and sanitation, and assist with audits and meetings.

Qualifications

• At least 6 months restaurant experience.
• Strong customer service and communication skills.
• Ability to read and interpret orders and receipts.
• High school diploma or GED required.
• Shift/Team Leader training certification preferred.

Responsibilities

• Directs and supervises hourly staff on shift to ensure quality, efficiency, and guest service.
• Assist in planning and supervising completion of tasks with safety and sanitation compliance.
• Provide training using company tools for all restaurant operations.
• Assist management in equipment maintenance and notify GM about repairs.
• Perform register audits, deposits, and report guest/employee incidents.
• Attend store/market/company meetings and keep certifications up to date.
• Recommend disciplinary action for hourly team members.
• Maintain interior/exterior cleanliness and initiate clean-up as needed.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
