Job summary

Harri is seeking a Shift Leader to support the management team in achieving restaurant goals and profit plans. You will supervise hourly staff, train teammates, and assist with safety and sanitation compliance on a daily shift.

The role requires 6 months of restaurant experience, strong customer service and communication skills, and the ability to operate a cash register. High school diploma or GED is required. Equal opportunity employer.

Qualifications

• At least 6 months restaurant experience.
• Must have good customer service skills and be able to perceive and react to the needs of others.
• Must have good written and oral communication skills.
• Ability to read company instructions, orders on screen/receipts and written materials.
• Ability to operate cash register, basic mathematical skills.
• High school diploma or GED equivalent required.
• Must pass Shift/Team Leader training and be certified.

Responsibilities

• Directs and supervises restaurant hourly team members on assigned shift to ensure product quality, operational efficiency, and guest service.
• Assist in planning and supervising completion of all task assignments with safety and sanitation procedures.
• Provide training to hourly team members using company-training tools.
• Maintain equipment and facility per guidelines; inform GM of needed repairs.
• Handle register and safe audits, deposits, and accounting of restaurant funds; respond to guest and employee incidents.
• Attend store, market and company meetings and stay current with certifications.
• Recommend disciplinary action for hourly team members.
• Monitor cleanliness and initiate cleaning as needed.
• Perform other related activities per policies and management directions.
