Job summary

Caribou Coffee in Aberdeen, SD is seeking a Shift Leader to guide daily store operations, coach a team, and ensure guest satisfaction while upholding brand standards during each shift.

You will work with the General Manager to deploy the day’s plan, manage tasks, train staff on SOPs, and monitor inventory and promotions to keep the store running smoothly. Strong communication and a positive, collaborative attitude are valued.

Qualifications

• At least 1 year of leadership, restaurant, retail or customer service experience is required or properly trained and approved to take responsibility as Shift Leader.
• Ability to work early mornings, evenings, some holidays and/or weekends.

Responsibilities

• Lead shifts with focus on team engagement and guest satisfaction.
• Ensure team executes SOP and quality standards consistently.
• Coach and provide feedback to team members during the shift.
• Train team on role responsibilities, product knowledge and promotions.
• Handle administrative tasks such as deposits, inventory and store orders.
