Job summary

Caribou Coffee is seeking a Shift Leader to guide the store alongside the General Manager or Assistant GM. You will ensure clear goals, product knowledge, cleanliness, and guest connections during shifts, while upholding brand standards and operational SOPs.

Responsibilities include leading shifts, coaching team members, managing inventory, and ensuring quality across all tasks. This role emphasizes ownership, communication, and serving guests with a positive, collaborative attitude.

Qualifications

• 1 year of leadership, restaurant, retail or customer service experience.
• Availability for early mornings, evenings, some holidays and/or weekends.
• Must be at least 18 years old.
• Preferred: High school diploma or GED.
• A valid driver’s license and reliable transportation.
• Physical requirements: lifting up to 50 pounds and ability to stand for 4–8 hours.

Responsibilities

• Lead shifts that focus on team engagement and guest satisfaction with a commitment to Make Fun Happen.
• Ensure SOPs and quality standards are followed consistently.
• Coach and develop Team Members for role responsibilities and product knowledge.
• Perform administrative tasks such as bank deposits, inventory, and store product orders as assigned.
• Own the shift and plan for the next shift, communicating priorities and ensuring smooth operations.
