Job summary

Harri seeks a Shift Leader to assist the management team in achieving restaurant goals, sales, and profitability. This role shares many responsibilities with hourly staff but drives performance as a leader on the shift.

Responsibilities include directing team members, training, safety compliance, cash handling, guest service, and resolving issues. The position requires communication skills, basic math, and a high school diploma, with training to certify as a Shift Leader.

Qualifications

• At least 6 months restaurant experience.
• Good customer service skills and ability to perceive and react to the needs of others.
• Strong written and oral communication skills.
• Ability to read company instructions, orders on screen/receipts and written materials.
• Ability to operate cash register and perform basic math.
• High school diploma or GED is required.
• Must pass Shift/Team Leader training and be certified.

Responsibilities

• Directs and supervises restaurant hourly team members on the assigned shift to ensure product quality, operational efficiency, and guest service.
• Assists in planning and supervising completion of all job task assignments and ensures adherence with safety, food safety, sanitation and security procedures.
• Provide training to hourly team members on all aspects of the restaurant operation.
• Assist management in maintaining restaurant equipment and inform General Manager about repairs.
• Perform regular administrative tasks including audits, deposits, and reporting of guest and employee incidents.
