Job summary

Papa John’s Shift Leader role ensures shifts and work areas run smoothly to deliver high quality products and exceptional customer service. You will oversee operations, enforce company policies, manage shift coverage, and monitor costs to help the restaurant achieve profitability.

The position requires leadership on the floor, adherence to safety and health standards, and the ability to train or guide team members in line with company procedures. Prior shift lead experience is preferred.

Qualifications

• High School diploma or GED preferred.
• Serv-Safe/Local or State Food Service Certification preferred
• Previous restaurant shift lead experience preferred

Responsibilities

• Adheres to guidelines, techniques and expectations for each station including dough management, accuracy and proper portioning; makes quality products, follows procedures and maintains holding times.
• Exemplifies Core Values; maintains a positive attitude; works well with others and is adaptable to change.
• Ensures adequate shift coverage for restaurant; provides feedback and corrects problems; maintains product quality, customer service and cost controls.
• Contribute to profit goals by following company guidelines, using focus system for cash management and assisting inventory control.
