Job summary

RaceTrac in the United States is seeking a hands-on Shift Manager who leads by example on a fast-paced shop floor. You’ll oversee daily store operations, coach teammates, and ensure guest satisfaction while upholding food safety and cleanliness standards.

Qualifications

• 2–3 years of work experience in retail, restaurant or food service preferred.
• 1+ years of leadership or supervisory experience preferred.
• Ability to thrive in fast-paced, high-volume guest-focused environments.
• Strong communication and team-building skills.
• Willingness to obtain and maintain required permits (food handler, alcohol server, etc.).

Responsibilities

• Lead a Winning Team on Your Shift.
• Set the tone with a cheerful, can-do attitude that motivates your team.
• Provide clear direction and assist with food service, stocking, cleaning, or cash handling.
• Coach team members in real-time, offering guidance and support during every shift.
• Address guest concerns with empathy and professionalism, escalating when necessary.
• Train and guide your team to meet RaceTrac’s guest service, food safety, and cleanliness standards.
• Oversee inventory, cash wrap, and compliance documentation.
• Lead shift change communications and ensure team alignment.
