Job summary

RaceTrac, Inc. is seeking a hands-on Shift Manager to lead a fast-paced team and deliver excellent guest service across all store operations. You’ll set the tone, coach colleagues, and ensure food safety, inventory accuracy, and cash handling standards are met on your shift.

You’ll drive performance, develop future leaders, and participate in a benefits-rich environment that rewards initiative and teamwork. Strong communication and a customer-focused mindset are essential.

Qualifications

• 2–3 years work experience (retail, restaurant, or food service preferred).
• 1+ years of leadership or supervisory experience (preferred).
• Comfort in fast-paced, high-volume, guest-focused environments.
• Ability to follow through on tasks and coach others to do the same.
• Strong communication and team building skills.

Responsibilities

• Lead a Winning Team on Your Shift: set tone and motivate your team.
• Provide clear direction and assist with food service, stocking, cleaning, or cash handling.
• Coach team members in real-time with guidance and support.
• Address guest concerns with empathy and professionalism, escalating when necessary.
• Train and guide the team to meet service, safety, and cleanliness standards.
• Oversee inventory, cash wrap, and compliance documentation.
