RaceTrac is seeking a Shift Manager to lead a fast‑paced team and deliver excellent guest service on each shift. You will drive store operations, coach staff, and ensure food safety, cleanliness, and accurate cash handling while building future leaders within a dynamic, people‑first environment.

You will play a critical role in supporting operations, improving performance, and nurturing a culture of accountability and teamwork across shifts.

Qualifications

• 2–3 years of work experience in retail, restaurant, or food service.
• 1+ years of leadership or supervisory experience preferred.
• Comfort in fast-paced, high-volume environments.
• Ability to follow through on tasks and coach others to do the same.
• Strong communication and team-building skills.

Responsibilities

• Lead a winning team on your shift with a cheerful, can‑do attitude.
• Provide clear direction and assist with food service, stocking, cleaning, or cash handling.
• Coach team members in real time, offering guidance and support.
• Address guest concerns with empathy and professionalism; escalate when necessary.
• Train and guide the team to meet service, food safety, and cleanliness standards.
• Oversee inventory, vendor check-in, and promotional communication.
• Lead shift change communication and ensure team alignment.
• Relate updates from leadership to shift associates and monitor task completion.
