Job summary

Zax LLC is hiring a Shift Leader to supervise daily restaurant operations, manage a team, and ensure high standards for service, food quality, and safety. You’ll lead by example, train staff, and uphold company procedures while delivering an exceptional guest experience.

The role requires flexible scheduling, strong leadership, and a proactive approach to problem solving in a fast-paced environment. This position offers opportunities for advancement and a supportive team culture.

Qualifications

• Must be 18 years of age or older.
• Must have reliable transportation.
• Ability to work a flexible schedule including days, nights, weekends, and holidays.
• Part‑time: Available to work 9 to 28 hours per week.
• Full‑time: Available to work 32 to 40 hours per week.
• Successful completion of background check.
• Demonstrates leadership qualities, organizational skills, and ability to interact cooperatively with others.
• Follows company standards and local laws with regards to employee time punches.
• Strong interpersonal and verbal communication skills.
• Technological savvy; knowledge of required company software and tools.
• Strong problem‑solving skills.
• Ability to multi‑task and manage time effectively.
• Conflict resolution skills.
• Ability to make sound judgements and decisions which align with company standards and values.
• Servant leader mindset.
• Leadership experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Manage shift tasks and supervise team to ensure smooth operation.
• Coach and mentor team members and communicate performance feedback to the GM.
• Prioritize guest and team member experience and resolve issues professionally.
• Maintain service, product quality, and cleanliness standards.
• Receive and reconcile deliveries and monitor inventory.
• Plan shift duties and ensure opening/closing tasks are completed.
• Collaborate with management to set and achieve goals.
• Ensure compliance with policies and safety guidelines.
