Job summary

Zax LLC is hiring for a Shift Leader to oversee shift operations, manage staff, and ensure guest satisfaction. You will train and coach team members, delegate tasks, and monitor performance to meet company standards.

Responsibilities include maintaining food quality and safety, handling deliveries and inventory, and escalating issues to management while upholding safety guidelines and a positive team culture.

Qualifications

• Must be 18 years of age or older.
• Must have reliable transportation.
• Ability to work a flexible schedule including days, nights, weekends, and holidays.
• Part‑time: Available to work 9 to 28 hours per week
• Full‑time: Available to work 32 to 40 hours per week
• Successful completion of background check
• Demonstrates leadership qualities, organizational skills, and ability to interact cooperatively with others
• Follows company standards and local laws with regards to employee time punches
• Strong interpersonal and verbal communication skills
• Technological savvy; knowledge of required company software and tools
• Strong problem‑solving skills
• Ability to multi‑task and manage time effectively
• Conflict resolution skills
• Ability to make sound judgements and decisions which align with company standards and values
• Servant leader mindset
• Leadership experience preferred

Responsibilities

• Manage shift to meet goals and ensure guest satisfaction.
• Train, coach, and develop team members and communicate performance concerns to the GM.
• Prioritize guest and team member experience and resolve issues in a friendly manner.
• Mentor and lead by example to maintain positive team morale.
• Delegate tasks and supervise performance during a shift.
• Maintain service, product quality, and cleanliness standards.
• Receive and reconcile deliveries and complete daily inventory counts.
• Plan shift duties and ensure opening/closing tasks are completed.
• Ensure compliance with policies, procedures and safety guidelines.
• Report concerns to General Manager and District Manager.
