Job summary

Zax LLC is seeking a Shift Leader to manage shift operations, coach team members, and ensure guest satisfaction. You will train staff, assign tasks, and enforce food safety and quality standards while handling opening and closing duties with a focus on positive guest experiences.

The role supports a flexible schedule, with opportunities for advancement in a fast-paced, customer-focused environment. Prior leadership experience is preferred and reliable transportation is required.

Qualifications

• Must be 18 years of age or older.
• Reliable transportation.
• Ability to work a flexible schedule including days, nights, weekends, and holidays.
• Background check required.
• Demonstrates leadership qualities, organizational skills, and ability to interact cooperatively with others.
• Strong interpersonal and verbal communication skills.
• Technological savvy; knowledge of required company software and tools.
• Strong problem-solving skills.
• Ability to multi-task and manage time effectively.

Responsibilities

• Manage shift operations including product, process and people.
• Train, coach, and develop team members; communicate performance to General Manager.
• Resolve guest complaints in a friendly and timely manner.
• Delegate tasks to team members and supervise performance during a shift.
• Maintain operational standards and ensure compliance with policies and procedures.
• Plan and assign opening/closing duties; ensure inventory and food safety checks are completed.
