Job summary

Zax LLC is seeking a Shift Leader to manage the shift operations, including supervising staff, ensuring product quality, and delivering a positive guest experience. You will set shift goals, assign tasks, and respond to guest concerns while maintaining safety and standards across the restaurant.

Lead and coach team members, open/close duties, and collaborate with management to drive performance. This role offers a flexible schedule and opportunities for advancement within the Zax LLC family.

Qualifications

• Must be 18 years of age or older.
• Reliable transportation.
• Ability to work a flexible schedule including days, nights, weekends, and holidays.
• Part‑time: 9 to 28 hours per week; Full‑time: 32 to 40 hours per week.
• Successful completion of background check.
• Demonstrates leadership qualities, organizational skills, and ability to interact cooperatively with others.
• Follows company standards and local laws with regards to employee time punches.
• Strong interpersonal and verbal communication skills.
• Technological savvy; knowledge of required company software and tools.
• Strong problem‑solving skills.
• Ability to multi‑task and manage time effectively.
• Conflict resolution skills.
• Leadership experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Create a culture of high performance and train and coach team members to meet all company standards.
• Mentor and develop team members and communicate performance concerns to the General Manager.
• Prioritize the guest and team member experience and resolve complaints in a friendly and respectful manner.
• Create and maintain a positive culture and healthy team morale through recognition and leading by example.
• Delegate tasks to team members and supervise performance during a shift.
• Maintain operational standards and ensure compliance with all guidelines, policies, and procedures.
