Job summary

Applegreen USA Welcome Centers Central Services in Cranbury Township, NJ, is seeking a Shift Supervisor to lead shifts, motivate staff, and uphold brand standards while delivering excellent customer service. You will train new team members, manage cash handling and POS transactions, oversee food prep and safety, stock and sanitize workstations, and assist with opening/closing procedures.

Qualifications

• Cash handling and customer service experience required.
• Shift supervisor or leadership experience preferred.
• Demonstrates the ability to interact with the public and coworkers in a friendly, enthusiastic, and outgoing manner.

Responsibilities

• Lead the activities of team members on shift.
• Provide friendly customer service and resolve customer complaints.
• Complete opening, daily and closing procedures/checklists.
• Operate POS system and process payments per policies.
• Ensure proper food handling, labeling, dating and storage.
• Oversee prep, cooking, packaging, and cleaning tasks.
• Stock, clean and sanitize workstation and equipment.
• Actively cross-sell and up-sell products.
• Maintain knowledge of plaza products and services.
• Assist in training new team members.
• Follow brand standards and food safety requirements.
• Inform plaza leadership of issues observed.
